Not sure about the tonal balance on this one. Sounds good on my speakers on headphones... so I guess I like it? Heard the song so many times, can't listen again. LOL

I think this is a very good mix and for me not too bright. Cheers!
I don't think it's too bright either, tonally it sounds great. I do think the snare isn't quite sitting right though. Either it's too loud in general or it's too loud in relation to the rest of the kit.

I went for mono drums, as there isn't really an overhead track as such, so the drums all sounded like different elements and there snare does sound a bit disconnected here - what happened to the tambourine? That would add some jingle to the off beats along with the snare.

It doesn't sound too bright to me, but there is not much dynamic range left so I don't know if you went with quite a lot of compression - it doesn't need much at all.

Nice strings.

Finally, the vocal needs to come up a bit and is uncomfortably right in the front of the mix. Nice tone and level control, but I feel you could push quite a big reverb onto the vocal with no ill-effects - for instance at 1:50 it's dry and present, (slightly too loud there actually) but the lack of effects mean the vocal doesn't quite sit right for me.

Overall, great job though!
