Greetings fellow mixers and Happy Holidays to One and All.

This is my humble offering for this haunting, sexy and mischievous tune.
This mix features my first use of my newly acquired Lexicon LSP Reverb bundle. Me likey.

I hope you enjoy my interpretation. It is apparently a common theme.

Evened out a few voicings to smooth out the mix.

Hey Mixinthecloud,

Really nice atmosphere in general.
I really like the vocals during verses.
During the choruses though i find them a bit weird(imho),
not sure that reverb works there.
I'm not a fan of the reverb on the cajon(to much imho), adds clutter In my taste.

Hey. Thanks for the listen. Good ear.
The Cajon does have a ton of reverb during the verses and none during the choruses, I think. I was trying to do something with it during the sparse verses but it did not work real well.

Sorry, but didn't like the mix until 1:25. Guitars sounded squashed to death, muddy and oversaturated.
