You probably done this intentionally ,the vocal in the chorus sounds a touch loud in the upper mid !
Toned down the upper mids in the lead vocal a bit.
the version 2 is a huge improvement. I like the contrast between the chorus and verse, and you've really taken advantage of the singers warmth. she has a rather lovely voice.
