Howdy Folks!

Interesting track this! The tracks all sounded pretty great without a lot of utility work needed on them. I kept in all the DI tracks, using TH-U Slate edition to thicken things up.

Some Eqing here, a little light compression there, some massive panning sprinkled in. . .you know, the usual.

Anyhoo, let me know your thoughts!

Interesting! You auto-panned the Sax in the non-chorus sections. Gives an interesting movement in the sound and mix /overlap with the guitars constantly changing.

Nice use of reverb / delay on the 'guitar 3' part. And that last 'fluttering' part of the sax in the outra part was crazy, too - loved that!

Next to that, a great mix overall i.m.o. Kudos!
Thanks for your thoughts, Ringo!

Yeah, I was worried it was going to be too much, or just perceived as weird. I'm glad you thought it brought movement, as that is what I was hoping for!

If you thought I was worried about the first bit being over done, you can believe that I was worried that the final crazy sax panning would just be a total turn off. I had hoped that I set up the ending well enough with the panning of the sax earlier, so I'm really glad you liked that.

Thanks again for taking the time to take a listen, and for the kind words!

Hi Draper nice mix the only thing that concerns me is the auto panning of the sax,it's to me the lead instrument and should Imo be kept centre and get movement from a little bit of background rev or delays, the sax crazyness at the end does work though, well done.
the best use of this snare I've heard

Hi loweche6,

The snare sounds a little too upfront and a bit boxy to me, and I would keep the guitars more to the sides. I'd swear I can hear a little excess of very low end rumble on the overhears, maybe? I like the texture of the sax. Good job.

Cheers!
