Hope some of you are still out there to give me some feedback on my mix of this track! It was quite nice to work on, especially as a live arrangement.
I had TRacks 5 (SSL) Bus Comp on the master bus, however I bypassed it for this mix because I though there was too much audible compression happening for such a live acoustic feel. All there is on the master bus is a (modeled) Pultec EQP-1A for some light, broad tonal shaping.
I had a particularly tough time working out the lead vocal. It was clear he was not singing consistently on-axis, and being a stage-centric vocal dynamic there were some less-than-desirable peaks/resonances that I was playing with.
