Did this one month's ago with Studio one stock plugs, then my pute crashed and I lost everything except this semi finished mix on my usb stick...
There's lots of other great tunes at Telefunken, hope to see more of then posted here ;

Agreed, 2nd try was horrible... here's the remix!

Bummer, sorry for your lost, Mongo. I understand this is not finished, right?

Hat track needs some highs rolling pronto because it's earsbleed bullying the verses. OH's could use some taming too, but way less so they still get the winning hand in the balance of the song, they're carrying the chorus after all!

Vocal delay is not adding to mix but lessening its urgency, maybe a slap delay would be better, but that long delay belongs better in a Massive Attack tune than this.

There's some weird too much low rumble, maybe coming from the room tracks?

But yet, I like the greasy, mono attitude. Tom treatment is good (it feels distracting when they're too cleanly panned), hard to balance organ is well balanced and vocal-guitar complement each other. BGV's sound great too. It's funny how much more words it takes to pinpoint the weak parts, but I don't want to make it feel as if I didn't like it because I did.

Did you just cut rhythm guitar or is it somewhere around the right side? That could be a way to compensate for the left side predominance of the ride parts.

Nice balances but it's very scooped. Again, I agree with Deliza's post Smile
Thanks for the input guys, I'll take your advice once I start over on the project. Just glad I at least had this rough cut on another drive, so it will be interesting to compare with down the road.
Cheers!
