Version 03.mpg
As suggested, I tried to turn the bottom snare down and compress the snare and kit. The snare sounded like crap, tried mixing it with the samples provided and sounded like crap, no matter how much I compressed and eq'ed .. lol. Im not that good with samples, but had to find a solution. I got rid of all the snare tracks and triggered one snare sample from groove agent, which I only have the stock samples and most sound horrible to me. Give me a well recorded live snare and Im happy, aren't we all .. lol. Anyways, it sounds triggered and Im still not happy, but I think it sounds better than the other snare tracks and seems to make it a bit more punchy.

Comments welcome

sounds good. maybe take down bottom snare mic? if you want more aggression or power, you could try compressing the drums. instrument and frequency balance feels great. gude job! ^_^

Thanks Kapu, Ill try that
Sounds great Kirk! I would echo Kapu's comments about the overall frequency balance etc.

Anything else would really just be down to personal preferences and taste. Nice work!
