Working out of one's comfort zone is GOOD! You learn new things about yourself and your skill.
When the bass and kick comes in, I feel the authority. This would be great for people on drugs to feel in their chest with the subs booming around them! The mid arps are at the perfect level, and you bring the melodic arp in totally dry, which I feel is an interesting choice....makes everything more "in your face"....downside of that is that it's a little less likely to seem like "music for people on ecstasy" :-)
I enjoyed the added reverb on the breakdown....great contrast with the dry and punchy main-room parts.
Well Done!
