Hey. Now after I have listened on my laptop with headphones and think i could do a few moves better but i do not want to "set your ears" on it. ;-) Anyway i am very interesting how it sounds on your speakers.

Sorry for my english ;-)
Hi

*Something is wrong with your drums.. the only thing in the center is the snare.. the kick is on the sides for some reason so you get this weird phased kick.
*Lead guitars are burried in the mix
*There is a lot of air (5khz) in your mix.. i'm not sure if it's the rhythm guitars or overheads or both

keep it up.
Thanks Shul for usefully response.

At the end of mixing i put Izotop Ozone in the master chain, to make mix more wide and shine. And propably i overdid it.

"*Lead guitars are burried in the mix"

does it mean at guitars should be louder and more in the front of mix, right?

Later on i will print the mix again without Izotop.
I switched Izotop off and i did a couple of notches around 5khz on rhythm guitars and room track (there were some annoying me freqencies right there) but then i felt at they are to dark to me so i boost it a bit with wide Q around 2k and 8k.
I found at this helps solos find its own space in the mix even if sound of distortion i ran solos through is not right to me.

Guitars sound better

*Guitars at 2:22 are out of sync.
*I notice that in some parts your kick sounds very loud and in others it dissapear. You should check your trigger levels when you sample something. I always go and make sure all my hits are at 100% in the levels and if I need to do adjustments I do it later on the project. EXAMPLE AT 0:53 - 1:00 notice how it dissapears and reapears stronger.
Or it could be your master bus in mastering has a limiter that is pushing the song too hard to be LOUD and is causing some aspects of the mix to drop volume in some areas. this is called "pumping"

another thing I notice is your mix is too loud. It's louder than the standard volume on records.

This is a really hard mix so I'm just gonna give you a post hardcore song so you can use as reference.
NOTE: this type of songs use compression on almost every track. Kick snare guitars bass vocals...

Pay attention to the balance of guitars and drums.. hear how the drums are just below the guitars but are still loud enough to where you can hear the hits of it.

keep it up.
It took a while, because i started a mix from the very beginning. I hope it sounds better.
