Hi out there my friends,

Don't have any experience in mixing this kind of genre.

So I guess my mix is out of the "usual metal" box Tongue

Tried to mix it with a kind of theatrical / fairy tale like stereo fx Big Grin

Comments, yes please, very welcome

Really hope you like it

Cheers,
Luc
sounds promising but the leadguitars are in the wrong place (they were given to us misplaced).
Hi Loupi, thanks for your kind words.

I think I'm gonna make a V2 hahahaha

Will try to get the guitars better. (this genre is really not in my experience scope, will try hard to improve Wink )

Cheers,
Luc

Hello Luc

A comment on post hardcore. I do like that kind of music and let me tell you eventhough I'm familiar with the genre it's really hard to mix this type of rock music. One tip I can give you is don't be afraid to experiment with reverbs a limiters... some subtle some big depends on the result you are looking for. I'm not an expert at this but usually it's instrumental is big and fat sounding and the vocal is small and tight. (usually) this might be different for every band but never the less if I could describe this type in a few words it would be BIG FAT SPACELIKE TIGHT. Most of this is done by reverb work and heavy compression.

here are some examples of famous bands

Now to your mix.
Kick is thin sounding or it just has too much click.
Bass has a lot of low end energy in comparison with the rhythm guitars.
Some guitars are off tempo like lupi mentioned. I would hear the reference track provided on the site to check up on the stuff.
Like I said it's a hard mix man but happy to hear the remix if you decide to give it a shot again.
