Hi hundav,
Beautiful! Well Done, I'm loving this mix, sound is balanced, well spaced and defined. I was drawn in from the start and enjoyed to the end. Well Executed.

I think the trumpets are a little bright for my liking. Nice energetic mix, though!

Yes, maybe the overall mix are a little bright, but like this with homogeneous and easy-going mood for me.
Thanks Draper!

Good work bringing the drums out at the intro.

It sounds like something is clipping in this mix and I think it's around the string bass (which is also a bit too loud.)
Generally, it seems like the instruments don't really want to sit together. Maybe a side effect of what you've got going on the master buss?

Dear azwayne !
Nothing clipping in this mix. I do not know you at least listened. The bass does not loud to me, if you do, it is a question of taste. Than I wrote, for me homogeneous the mix, if he does not seem you for it, no trouble. Master: UAD Pultec EQ, digital v2 Brainworx eq, Vertigo VSC -2 comp, Uad EMT 140 reverb, a light tape emulation (from Harrison mix bus), and a solid Uad limiter.
No problem if you do not like itWink
Bye

Well, those were just my first impressions. We're here to learn and I'll never say I'm better at this than the next guy.

Interesting combination of plugins. I don't have a pultec EQ emulator but I'm thinking about it...

Hi azwayne! There is no problem, of course, the mix is not perfect. Now mixed otherwise. A week later, again otherwise. Here It's good that you do not have to do a mix, as the author wants. You can add in your own ideas, which is either good or not. Of course, this set also shares the opinion. I do not want to go into the technical details, it is not recommended - but the Pultec EQ has low values are also very distinctive sound can usually work fine for vocals, bass, brass, guitars, and the Pultec pro version for master - especially for the uad emulation. Of course these are just my thoughtsSmile
Cheers
