Promises & Lies, my first mix down

hello, This is my first ever mix down, I am by no means a sound engineer, maybe amture at best, I would like to hear the feedback on this mix down, to me it sounds great but that is the opinion of inexperienced ears with nothing more then headphones and a surround sound system.

Hey RasterBurn, welcome to the mixing game

Well the first thing I will tell you is that you need to LISTEN to a lot of music on your speakers or headphones that you mix on, so you really know how they sound.
And also try comparing your mixes with other music you like the sound of.

Now to the mix,
The drums are very low in the mix and have no body, the kick disappears when the lead guitar starts. Bring them up and give the kick some nice bottom end.
The bass guitar is very boomy try eliminating the ringing frequencies.
