Hey Delilah mix
#1
Hi there,

This is my very first live mix.
I find this pretty hard to do. I have the feeling we can't fix everything we want.

Anyway, tell me what you think Blush

Imho live mixes are pretty hard to do, especially if you want to grab the feel of the performance. I think you definitely succeeded in getting it to sound like a live performance!

I'm part way through this mix. Tough one with lots of spill everywhere. Great job though. My only comment is maybe a bit more work on the lead vocals for cleaning up the presence and clarity. I'd also bring up the BGV a bit to help it out. Sounds like I'm there in a smokey bar ...

Good kick drum sound due to multiple frequencies in the low end, but might be too loud and seems like bass can't keep up to it (bass sounds too thin compared to kick).

Ooo. Nice! Drums are excellent. Snare may get a bit thick in places. I also like the placement of the Rhodes. I'd like to hear more bass guitar against that awesome kick as well as more Hammond.
