on a hardware LA2A you get a little transistor distortion just by running the mix through it with all the dials down if I'm not mistaken. I wouldn't be surprised at all if something like that was going on with Felt Mountain... the warmth from some sort of analog distortion is very evident. Love it. That first tune, Lovely Head... I have to play it twice every time.

BTW chaps, I posted a much cleaner revision on another thread. It still sounds good to me a day later (thank god) so we're probably on the right track.
