Hey guys,

My mix of this song. Enjoy!

Cheers,
Marcus

Edit: Tweaked it a little more. Vocals down, snare down and some automation.

Very nice. Great vocals, punchy snare and solid bass Smile
To mix or not to mix ... mix!

Sounds great on headphones. I wonder where the high bv went. And also if their absence is a problem. Even though I use mute, scissors and copy a lot in my not yet finished version listenin to yours show its possible to make sense of the multi as it is. Good kick I think.
Old ears, old gear, little boy inside love music and sounds and my wife, not necessarily in that order

I like the overall sound very much. Vocal sound is just perfect to my ears. This is my favorite mix of this song so far.

Some MINOR ideas to think:

- Piano feels like it’s playing in another room. Level is fine to me, but somehow it feels too distant to be on that level. Maybe in those small fills and instrumental breaks it could be more present.

- Is the low end too stereo? If you have any kind of mono-maker-plugin, you could try to make <100hz total mono. It might help to make the low-end even more focused. (I listened with headphones)

Good point! I should get the mix through a M/S EQ to sort that out! Might just be what's missing.

Cheers,
Marcus

Enjoyed the listen. Sounds well balanced. Listening on my speakers the low end on the sides is not too bad. Olli's suggestions will definitely help tho.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanx man! I'll definitely try to "clean" up the sides.
