Pedaling Prince MIx: Enda Reilly - Cur An Long Ag Seol
#11
I'm not hearing mud either....but I'm getting a bit of congestion in the middle

I think the LR panning of the violins and their relatively high level means that sometimes the centrally panned mandolins are battling for space with accordion and vocals...when it's just mandolins and fiddle its sounds great.

Nice mix overall....good vocals

The violins nearly drown the singer but thats what they do hearin live acoustic music isnt it . . . if you are . . . after a sound picture similar to a 2 track XY recordin of an acoustic band, which I actually think you were aimin for and that bein the case you succeeded very well

That is exactly the sound I was going for; that's usually the sound I'm aiming for with an acoustic recording. To say that is the highest compliment you could have paid this mix. Thank you. Blush
