You know, sometimes all the tweaking in the world doesn't help and you just have to tear it down and start from the bottom all over again.

Such was the case I felt with this track.

So may I introduce the newer and improveder track.

I used an SSL Master Bus compressor with only 2db of compression.

But I did compress likewise on each of my buss masters, using different compressors and I did have a lot of bussing going on.

I'm still not 100% with the mix so I'll try backing off on each of the busses a bit and see id that helps.

The balance is good .
If you haven't tried this, I had a lot of trouble with a build up of low frequencies especially on electric guitar 1 and drum ambience track 1 and removed all frequencies below 200hz to get the music breath ,but usually tend to over do it LoL.
