Bass is too loud and needs filter about 85.
The mix a little muddy but that is the bass mainly.

I think you've done pretty well in presenting this tune, violin is placed beautifully.

Lovely sounding mix the violin sounds great on, my monitors I think it could come down 2-4 db especially during the singing.
I agree with Alan the bass sounds a touch upfront,can also hear a slight resonating frequency at 112hz not sure if it is the bass or kick .

I didn't tell you but, during the mix process, I had TONS of problems with the bass and kick. So I was not surprised at all when I heard the things you pointed out.

But anyway, here's an improved version with less bass, the bass resonance (I didn't hear anything on the kick track) at 87 Hz and the violin sidechained to the vocals, so no space competition anymore when they're playing at the same time!!

A lot better maybe the guitar is a bit loud in places and the violin also and a bit too much verb.
Your getting there,is the rim sot too loud also?

Yes the rim was too loud. I wanted to fix it yesterday but I forgot

Anyway, I've checked the guitar and violin volume and I think it's ok now. I haven't changed the violin's reverb because I like it like that
