This is my 3nd mix. Also new to mixing as a hobby.
I felt the drums were limited to what I could do with them.
I don't have nearfeild monitors so I used Shure 440 headphones.
First thing I did pan and set levels turned down some guitars and vocals. wanted the acoustic guitar to shine and not be left out of the mix so made it stand out.
For the bass ,3-6 db ,800hz-5k on a graphic EQ . put a little reverb on vocals. Thats about it.
I will enjoy any feed back and if you liked anything. I will be listening to others 'mixes posted. Thanks.
added multi band compression on the 2nd one
and some other fine tune adjustments, Peace.
