Hello and thanks for the song.
However, the instrumental arrangement of guitars is questionable and certainly a matter of taste. Not my cup of tea.
I quickly realized that the song wasn't getting any better with any tricks and moves, especially because of the guitars. So I ran all relevant tracks individually through "Reussenzehn Mic-Mic" (this is a dual mic / line tube preamp from Ing.Thomas Reussenzehn from Germany) to get a massive tube saturation for every single instrument in the song. I deliberately didn't use room track and backing vocals - also a matter of taste.
Due to saturation, it was not necessary to compress individual signals at all. If anything, then very discreetly. So I only took one guitar track per guitar, which then I made a little stereo with different delays. That way I got the mix done quickly.
Kick, snare and toms got support from trigger2, they support the original drums. That’s it,
thanks for hearing,
Best regards
