Hearing the mix after a few days, I think you're right.
I remember I had some problems with the s of the male vocals.
Maybe we have reserved too much attention that distracted me from the correct balance :\
Anyway I like the general vibe of the mix!

i only heard 1/2 your mix but what i heard sounded really nice. The whole balance really hangs together well

For some reason the male vox at 00.53 seems really overpowered. I'm not sure if the level is too high, or if it needs EQ cut to help it

I think you are right.
Probably, as I said in the other answer, I was paying too much attention to the problems with this voice and I lost sight of balance.
However, I also like the general vibe of the mix!
