There are some problems with the singer. With proximity and bass register. I have a friend who puts a microphone in front of them that does not record, and another one about 40cm so that they do not approach the second.
In the video of the recording he doesn't really seem to move that much except when he needs to when really being loud. Maybe it's just the mic itself. 40 cm seems like it's be pretty far. Especially in a live recording situation like this. It's just something we have to compensate for.
In a live recording, maybe it is a bit far. And it may also be the fault of the microphone. But there are many bass registers that come and go.
Maybe I could have put a multi-band limiter in that area. And perhaps it would be more balanced.
Thanks for listening to the mix, Roy.
I never use a trigger, in fact I don't have any program.
For the kick drum I used a Chandler Tone Control and a UA 1176LN only, and a room reverb.
And I processed the voice only with plugins.
Thx Pat
