I personally don't like duets where the vocals are on two separate sides of my head (wearing headphones lol). Maybe you could make an aux track and bus them to the middle and keep the volume down or pan them closer.

Some of the elements in the mix sounds like of detached, and the volume needs to be fixed in verse two.

Do you have any compression on your master? That might help you after everything is all edited to bring it all closer together.

Individually you have some good effects on these tracks but they don't seem to be quite integrated.
