Carolina in the Pines
#1
I am mixing on AKG Headphones. ( ...cause I can see standing waves dancing on the ceiling ...when I turn the lights off)
It sounds good here, but I don't know how my mix translates on other systems.

So, if you would be so kind and " lend me your ears" and leave a comment.

Thank you in advance.

Mix/Master is -1 db peak before MP3..ing. ( if that is a word?)

This sounds find. My only comment would be on the relative emptiness of the image center.

I tried to put more in the center of the mix.

So I panned the main vocals in center and the 2nd and 3rd left and right.

I am mixing with headphones - so my panning might not be like it should be.

Please do leave a comment what you think.

Thank you kindly

Nice Clear mix you are on the right track ad have done a pretty good job with these live multi tracks which are a fun challenge ,listening to Version 3.3 and sounds fuller in the centre Channel than the first version .
Missing some dynamics Can hear a little pumping could be the mandolin in the centre is hitting the master limiter a little hard.
Cheers Big Grin

Thanks and....
you spot on - I had to push it hard to mask some unwanted sounds, and something has to give.
But I do like them Telefunken songs, they a nice challenge.
Now I am waiting for your next mix, so I can learn more.
