North To Alaska - All The Same
#1
My second proper mix done from Cambridge.
Hi. Im a bedroom musician from Australia and this is the second multitrack that ive done from Cambridge.

I spent about 2 weeks on this and my reason for doing it is to gain some more knowledge about mixing since im halfway through my first Sound Design course. Everything was recorded just fine except for some irrepairable pops on the kick drum during the start of the chorus's. (Which is suspected to be a mis-firing noise gate. Can hear it a little bit on the left overhead as well.)

I mixed this on a pair of Audio Technica M50x

P.S. The file name says Lights Off Clarity since the readme.txt file said that and i assumed the readme file was correct

Edit:
Some addition details:
-The reason the drums sound big and spacious is because for one of my assignments i had to re-amp drums to give it some natural reverb, hence the room reverb on the drums.
-I scrapped the solo in the last section because, to be quite honest, i found it was played terribly and it degraded the mix somewhat.
