First, I would bring out more cymbals in the mix. I would try to balance the drums out more also, like turn down the snare or turn everything else up. Then i would add more clarity and tone (High frequency) to the guitars and turn down some of the muddiness in the guitars in the range of 300-500hz somewhat just so the guitars come out a little better. The bass could be turned up just a little bit more and get more lows on the bass and kick its a good start.
