My take on Santa Fe by Fruition

Great recording and great song. Makes you want to save some money to buy one of those Telefunken mics. Let me know what you think.

Cheers!

Overall, I like the mix. It's a bit bass heavy on my system. The vocal may benefit from a tad more low passing or a dip in the 200 area. Good job.

Sorry, I said low pass but of course meant high pass.

My only objection is that it is a bit one dimensional. I'd like to hear more depth in the mix. The sounds are all excellent as is the balance.

I feel like I can't add anything to was was already said...
Nice balance, good feel... I'm missing excitement, feels a bit flat but thats just nitpicking.
Good Job!

Thanks for the feedback. You guys were right about being one dimensional. I made some slight adjustments to the eq of the kick and bass, and also to the drums. I hope that made more depth. I also removed about 3db in 200 hz in the vocals (i used brainworx dynamic eq, great plugin).
