Mix by Zbat

Hi,

This is my mix attempt!

The intro reminded me of radio gaga, not sure if it's on purpose ahah

There's a bunch of stuff I did in terms of mixing:
Added a bit of delay and reverb on the vocals to give a bit of depth, with some automation to make it pop during the chorus.
Lots of compression on the drums, did not use any samples but used a transient designer and a bit of reverb + distortion to make the snare big.
Not a lot done on synth or guitars, lots of panning, some automation, the goal was for the verses to serve the choruses basically. Had guitars hard left and hard right and tweaked the EQ so that one is more "ballsy" with more bottom end and the other a bit more attack.
I'm not a fan of clean bass so duped the track with an ampeg simulation with lots of gain and attack and blended it behind.
I was not a massive fan of the vocals on the chorus, I wish the singer had recorded it with more intention or harmonies or anything that would give a lift. So I added some synth that follow the vocals to make it more upfront and melodic.
Added a choir on the last chorus to have this evolution up to the end.

That's all I can remember.

Thanks, please let me know what you think!!
Quentin
