In my opinion I think the bass is a too prominent in the chorus sections.
The drums seem too thin/soft, might be the bass overpowering them.
Overheads are also too loud.

Vocals sound well balanced.

Those aren't major issues.
A couple of dB's here and there should balance it out much better!

Thank you very much for having a listen and detailed feedback !
I found this great track to learn something from !
I had a look at the last project an realized that I had used no compression on the bass ,having another listen again after a break and needs a remix !
Thank You Wink

No problem!
Just returning the favor.

Looking forward to your next mix of this track.
A song is never finished... Only abandoned. So sing if you've got nothing left to say.

I think the reason the bass sounds so overprominent is because there's a disonant resonance in the low mid/upper bass region that pokes out occasionally, probably because all the crazy phasing going on in the recordings.
I'm grateful for comments and suggestions. Thank you for listening!

Thanks for having a listen Pauli
Having another play around with this mix will look into phasing and hopefully have the bass sorted out Big Grin !

I've been working on this one for weeks and the phase stuff is causing what remains of my hair to shrivel up and fall out >_<

Hi thedon,

Nice job on the mix! (I listened to mix 2).

The biggest thing for me would be to balance the OH mics, they are a bit hyped and make listening a bit tough.

Curious, did you use samples on the Drum Kit?

Thanks for having a listen Joe !

I didn't use any drum samples only the original drum tracks supplied .
I will try to fix the drum balance when I do another remix Big Grin !
