Hollowstate: 'Gravediggers' by music_nino
#1
Hello everyone,

this is my first bounce of Hollowstate: 'Gravediggers'. The guitars are really annoying to mix...

What do you thin of my mixdown? Hope for some feedback!

Thanks,
music_nino

Nice! Did you add the sub boom to a couple sections to mark when they come in?

If the vocals and solo come down a touch, you could probably get another 3dB out of the mix before running into clipping issues.

I've used a transient shaper on the sub boom (kick sample) to enhance the low end and pull down the attack a bit. Afterwards, the signal goes trough a reverb, which only slightly adds stereo room. This signal chain enters a limiter to compress and push it a bit.

I had the feeling that the solo is a bit to quiet around 1-2db and the vocals are a bit to loud.
