Just a couple of hours so far ,went for a warmer analogue vibe with the vocals in the distance !

After listening to your mix, i detected the following problems
-you have too much low end in your mix to the point that i almost destroyed my speakers
-your mix lacks clarity my advice is that don't be afraid to apply extrem EQ MAKE THAT DRUMS AND PERCUSSIONS SHINE
Other than that it's a good start.

Great mix thedon! Its sounds really good. Its obvious that we both didn't liked the vocals sample to present and put it back in the image. My only observations regarding the mix is the level of the shakers from the percussion track. Automate those times where the shakers enter, because they are embedded inside the percussion track. Other than that, its a great mix. Greetings

Sounds nice Don. Really like the stereo image you have presented. Just don't be afraid to push those solo instruments when they appear, starting with the piano. Looking forward to Ver 2.
