I'm not sure if the drum tracks are live or very well programmed, but if it's truly live, then this drummer surely is the best one I've seen on this site yet! The whole kit just sounds great right from the start, and everything else was also as well-performed and well-recorded. 90% of this mix&master was done in less than an hour. That's my new record for any heavy mix, maybe ever. But of course, I spent a couple more hours tweaking and automate things. Definitely one of my proudest mixes for sure. Check it out!
Please tell me what you think of the overall tone of this track. Lately I've been practicing mixing an EP/Album, so I'm going to transfer the same sound to the other track "Ill Fate". It would be inconvenient to jump back and forth between two tracks, so I want to make sure this one sounds fine first.
