very muddy on the low mids. I would try to clean up some of that kick and make some cuts on that bass.. perhaps highpass to a degree to make that low end less problematic.

Listening to your first mix, I don't necessarily feel there is too much low mids in general. There may be too much outside kick which would give the kick too much low mid which is masking the bass. At times I feel some things get a little piercing like vocals and snare. Overall though I think this is pretty good.

The second mix is better on the kick yet still nice and full. The snare gets a little wispy at times when it could maintain some more girth.

Both mixes are good and great listens.
