Hannes Keseberg: 'You Know Better' (critiques plz)
#1
Pretty well recorded. I just didnt like the snare. Welp here we go anyway.

Version 2:
- more beef on the kick
- rounder bass sound
- removed crispy vocal frequencies
- changed the reverb structure a bit
- removed harshnes on chop guitar
- some panning adjustment
- nice ending Smile

Hope you like it!

Cheers,
LukasAngel

Good environmentals. Chop guitar seems way too out front and the vocal gets a little crispy at times. That is all. Otherwise a great take.

Thanks for the feedback. I adjusted the things you mentioned in new version.
I will check yours out later Smile

I like what you've done with the new version, especially how you treated the ending. Very creative and well engineered.
The blend between the chop guitar and the piano is better but still too out front imho. It is not biting as much as in version 1 but it still seems to be the dominant figure in the song and I don't think that is where it should reside.

Still an excellent listen.

Hey LukasL,

Your Mix is great. Sounding solid on my Headphones, vocals are also sounding great.
The most interesting thing that I noticed is the Use of Delay. Great, Keep it Up.
