Hannes Keseberg: 'You Know Better'
#21
Loved it!
Two things : that slide guitar distracts from the lead vocals at times and the ending doesn't lift enough for me... I'd like to hear that whistle melody more upfront.
Great job!

Hey Don,

Really awesome Mix (especially Ver2), Sounds clear and spacious on my monitors and Headphones. Vocals are on the face and guitars are well polished.
Keep It Up.Cool

I listened only to version 3 and my first impression is that every part is trying to vie for presence and in your face. And you did a nice job of that. But maybe that is not what's needed. I feel some parts should lay back in the spectrum some (like the side stick as an example). I believe this would give your mix more depth. What I really did like was your background vocals. They are spot on.

Nice and warm mix, I like the drums and vocals.

Transients of the leading guitar are too sharp for me.

Hey don, heres things from my stand point the bass seems loud in my cans at points and a bit muffled, the mid part where everthing has calmed down was awesome just everything comes back with vengeance i dunno if there's away you could ease it in a little bit. drums are great (sidestick super nice) and Your BVs sound incredible (Jealous)..

Cheers

I listened v4.

Sounds great. Balances and groove great.

Soolo gtr a bit thin (and too compressed?)

Maybe too much transients in overall sound. A bit sharp feeling.

i liked those shrotened bg-voxes.
