Hi Iram,

Nice work with the guitars, especially at the chorus. In the verses, the acoustics poke out a little bit, mostly on the first, but it's not too annoying later.
The voice is nice, very clean with a little bit of character. The kick is a little flabby though. I had to flip the phase on the overheads iirc, so maybe there's a problem there. Nice work also with the bgvs, well balanced mix, nice job.
ITB Setup: Reaper, Airwindows, IK Multimedia TR5, XLN AD2 ATrigger and RC-20, Waves.
Monitoring: Dynaudio BM5 mkIII, Behritone, Sennheiser HD 650. Semi-treated room.

Hey OctopusOnFire,
Thanx for istening to my mix I really appreciate it and thanx for your input as well. I might have not set the bus compressor fast enough to catch some of the acoustic guitar peaks so definitely will revisit that. As far as the kick I really should have used a sample to blend in the intended sound but I felt that the the recorded one would have more of that authentic trash blues rock sound. But listening back maybe it could use a bit more compression to tighten up the flab. Thanx again for you comments it really helps to get someone else’s perspective, two pairs of ears is better than one.
