Hi, here is my mix for 'The Well' by Death Of A Romantic. I am a student at Full Sail University looking to become a mix master. My favorite genre is (of course) heavy metal, and I thought this song was fun to mix.
I did not use any outside samples for kick, snare, toms, etc. The only thing I added was a cinematic-type swoosh sound for a few parts (you'll know what I mean when you listen).
I did not do too much for mastering. I added a light limiter, and I also tried out the Gullfoss intelligent EQ. Otherwise, that's it for mastering.
