To my ears, it sounds a bit bass heavy at the start of the verses.

You're correct, I need to dial in the bottom end. Especially after coming back to listen after a few days.

Hey Man Nice Mix, theres one thing that keeps popping up for me and its the Hi Hat maybe bring it down a bit, i only hear it on my left channel so i dont know if its from the overhead. hope this helps

hi! sounds good! you could try adding some 'weight' to snare. maybe some post comp eq or clipping or something. still, sounds very good and the levels are solid. nice mixing! ^_^
