I am getting an almost reverb like sound on the entire mix especially the vocals. It kind of sounds like the song is being played through on a very loud stereo at the bottom of a well. Did you happen to check the mix on a couple different playback systems? The cymbals are coming distorted at times. I will say that you have a pretty good balance however.

thx for your comments tshane. the mix was a mess so much so i felt i had to delete it. i replaced it with an update which i hope is an improvement.

(version 5): tried a different tone. wanted something dark and heavy but with some edge.
