Father Never Loved Me
#1
I've gone for a SSL 4000G mixing desk setup by using the bx_console_G for each channel. Whilst a lot of other mixes have gone for quite a few FX and a lot of reverb, I went for a close-up gritty feel with a White Stripes vibe.

The first bounce I made had no reverb bus at all, but on second listening it became obvious it was leading to more complications. There is a very short reverb bus in this with almost all instruments bussed to it in very small amounts.

Feedback is welcome. I'm aware I still need to work on mixing drums a little better, but the vibe is going where I wanted.

Definitely noted on cymbals. They end up always being a little too loud, but having heard some good mixes with less of the cymbals I'm certainly going to make sure of it next time.
