Hi guys

I really love this music, so I thought I would give it a go. Still relatively new to the art of mixing, but I really want to grow my skills in this.

This mix do not have the full automation lined up, but that will be added soon I think.

Hi!

The mix sounds very harsh, the kick sounds hollow, there's quite a bit too much low middle in the rhythm guitars and it makes this "dunk dunk dunk" noise on the palm mutes... maybe at 200Hz or thereabout.

In general I think you have way too much going on around the 2-5k region.
With the kick, you might have too much 500Hz that makes that hollow knocking sound.
I can't hear the bass very well, I think the guitars are masking it pretty efficiently.

Try to shift the whole balance of the mix slightly lower, but be mindful of the low mid on the guitars, as they're pretty hefty already.
