RE: wavolutionLab Mix
I like the sound of your acoustic guitars here in particular, but I'm not sure about the balance of the clarinet and accordion parts. These seem to be the real 'character' instruments here, musically speaking, but it feels like you're trying to conceal them behind what is essentially quite a 'vanilla' acoustic-guitar part. Likewise, I can kind of get the idea behind going with the slightly saturated vocal sound, but it seems a bit gratuitous in this arrangement, given that there's nothing else in the mix that's crusty like that. In fact, that effect would probably make more sense if the clarinet and accordion were more of a feature, and they had something of that 'coming off a 78' feel to them.

Blend is another issue I'd reconsider, because it does feel that the band is a bit back-to-front because of the way the drums and bass seem to sit well in front of the vocals. The vocal reverb choice is also probably less than ideal -- it sounds rather narrow, almost like it's in the back of Transit van, which jars somewhat with the idea of the kinds of natural spaces that would typically be suited to this kind of ensemble.

Thanks for letting us listen to what you've done, and I hope I've been able to be some help!
