First mix attempt on this site

I've never posted here before but here's a mix I did using pretty much only the stock Pro Tools plugins and a couple of the CLA Compressors.

Let me know what you think of it and what I could improve.

Hey - I'm new too, and just posted my first mix.

I had trouble getting the kick to pop out in the mix, without getting drowned by the bass guitar, so I used Slate Trigger2 to mix in a punchier kick, and also a sidechain compressor on the bass, to duck the bass whenever the kick was playing. Listening to yours, I think the kick may be a little too out front, and the bass guitar a little too far back. It also seemed like the overheads and backing vocals were pretty far back in the mix. Overall EQ is nice. It sounds a little "thick" in the low-low mids. Did you high pass the kick or bass guitar at all?
