That is one slammin' mix! The kick and snare sound freakin' amazing. Overall, I don't like how compressed it is, especially on the drums, but this is just my own difference in philosophy on mixing. I prefer a more natural sound. For the approach that you took, I think it sounds great! What sort of reverb did you use on the vocals? It's lovely and sits well.

I like it. The biggest thing I hear is the spitting from the gate on the snare, lots of spill in this one, makes for good practice.

Thanks! I just like to smash everything with compression. The reverb on vocals is Logic Pro X > Space Designer > Small Spaces > Small Plate > Vocal Ambience preset. ^_^

Thanks. I'm well aware of the snare hihat leaking, but was kind of hoping it would somehow work musically, if the release time for gate is right, giving a sense of hitting somekind of splash/openhihat-cymbal thingy on snare hits. ^_^
