Hi all,
first post and first metal song I've had a go at with these stems.
Used standard protools and other free plugins, no editing was done just mixing also the reverse cymbal was way to loud and the limiter clamps down on the whole mix when it plays I will fix it later if I get time. Also did anyone else have problems with the ring in the snare being to wide to remove? Think guitars could be fatter but thought I may as well just put it out there and hope for some feedback from you guys.
Mix 2- Mixed with Metallica in mind ie drums are the loudest thing
mix 3- Added more room to kit
Mix 4- Removed extra room from kit and just added more gated verb to snare also turned guitars up after really digging the energy in DCP10200's mixes.
