Thats more like it well done.
Good use of delay and reverb is one
of the secrets of mixing,if its used right
you can never use too much.
You are on the right track with this mix
I think the secrets to mixing are
1 phase
2 using delay and reverbs
3 use compession only when needed and undertsand why you need to use it
4 only use highpass when needed
To me it sounds like this mix has a quite hyped high end (like it was recorded to tape with dolby but played back without). Especially some of the percussion (shaker stuff and ride track) are sizzling quite loud up there.
The type of reverb you have for the vocals in this mix would work perfectly in an extremely dense arrangement (a rock song stuffed with guitars) but here you'd got all the room for some longer verb (and even some delay). Usually adding multiple reverbs for different purposes (a short one and a long one) works really well. So no too much reverb but perhaps too short
I feel the spacey atmosphere gets broken somewhat whenever the bone-dry lead strings come in.
