South of the Water - Marce's Mix

Here's my mix of "South of the Water".
Now that I listen to it again after a couple of days, I hear the kick and the bass a bit weak.
Let me know your comments. They'll be appreciated.

Hi Marcelo,

Yeah, you're right, kick and bass, also snare seem to be weak. In the case of the snare, I can hear the room, but not the snare itself. Needs more smack and body. The kick lacks punch and definition in the higher mids, try a bump around 3-5k. There's a lack of balance between elements that needs to be addressed, e.g The voices versus the guitars, the tambourine versus the drums, or when the piano comes in.... I can't hear the rhythm guitars at all as well.

By the way the mix pumps when the chorus comes, I bet there are some problems in the low end that make the rest of the mix suffer.

Nice attempt, it's on the right track, but it needs work. Cheers!
