You've got a bit of the "cardboard box" feeling in the kick...try a sharp cut between 250-400 and you'll have the thump and the beater click but not the boxy tone. You did a nice job compressing the vocals so that they sit low in the mix but I can hear every word....classic indie rock. Don't dig the delay on his voice as it puts him back in the mix, and I think he should be upfront so we feel the emotion more....just my take.

Nice balance between bass and guitars. Did you use the DI tracks and reamp them or use something like Amplitube, etc? Always cool to hear how others work. Snare has a great thump to it at its resonant frequency, but notice that the 16th note fills blend a little to much, so I'd eq some "smack" in there too.

Not much overhead or room....is that how you went about controlling the spill on the snare mic?

Overall, well done for a quickie. I'm sure if you took a few hours you'd have a really nice mix on your hands!
