This sounds like its over compressed for an artistic effect. That being said, the compression has taken the power from the impact of the mix and replaced it with lots of harsh top end. Very squishy mix. I would try to make it cleaner while maintaining your vision and then it will be cool. Cheers.

You are absolutely right. My computer maxed out with the track count and I printed all the busses and shut the tracks off......something went terribly wrong. Especially with the drums, I think that's probably what you are hearing. The snare in particular has no oomph.

I recently remixed it and I'll post soon.
