It was a very very fun time.
I enjoyed the music.
tr1 1st Impression (Pop Rock,Classic Rock)
tr2 Royal Brandy advice.ver (Hard Rock)
tr3 Dave & Roy advice.ver
tr4 Roy & Mixinthecloud advice.ver (Vox fix: a little wet)
I learned a lot
I am planning a final mix next time (tr5)
I will mainly deal with distortion
I will make it in consideration of volume, balance, dynamism and distortion
24-06-2017 Distortion removal complete
I am creating a new mix
Fine tuning
Listen to this as a reference track "Slash's Snakepit - Been There Lately" (youtube)
There are a couple of things in your mix that I would look at.
Kick, bass, I miss the crashes (where did they go?), and the chorus had multiple vocal takes, use them all! Make it it BIG
Thank you for listening
Thank you for your advice.
I mixed this song with the image of Classic Rock
Crashes and Chorus can solve it
I am listening to Slash's Snakepit now.
I understood the sound quality, balance and effect
It was a very interesting sound
I will challenge Mix like Slash's Snakepit
I will let you know when it is completed
Hey Yoshi, good effort. I think the most important thing at this stage with your mix is to get the low-end under control. Then I would look at vocal balance and perhaps a bit of reverb to give it some space. Your EQ decisions in the upper-mids and highs are very good and tasteful.
Thanks for your comments and advice
This mix wants to organize a little low frequency
I am very happy.
This mix made a thought of Pop Rock, Classic Rock
The next version is Hard Rock
It is the original intention of this song
